What do you do with 25 X-Men?

Remember when five X-Men variant covers were a lot?

Well here are five times that many!

Those are all 25 X-Men: Days of Future Past covers from Empire magazine, forming an interlocking image that runs from the past to the future. You can view the assembled image here, but be prepared to scroll (and scroll and scroll).

So I guess this will be all we see of Rogue.

I've never quite understood "collector's edition" magazines in general. I guess I get having variant issues to drive up sales though. I used to collect any/all magazines for certain bands I followed. Even if it was just a tiny blurb, I had to own it.

    "Eh, bag 'em"...

I'm so confused. I had assumed that First Class was a separate continuity.

      Why would you assume that?

      • Soundwinder says:

Because it didn't really jive with the first four movies. Emma Frost was different, Beast was already bestial, Magneto and Xavier had already parted ways (and Xavier was already paralyzed but had hair, while in the flashback he was bald but could walk), not to mention the fact that in the first movie Professor X was openly operating out of his family's home (and FC made it seem like he'd be hunted)... those are just some of the things that come to mind but they just made me assume it was a continuity reboot.
