This is the latest in a series (of indefinite length and regularity) of blog posts memorializing cancelled toys. Our figure today is Mattel's Flashpoint Aquaman.
In the Flashpoint story, Aquaman was returned to Atlantis when he was a teenager, so he had very little affinity for humankind. He was a military leader, and was willing to sacrifice millions of human lives in his war against Wonder Woman and the Amazons.
This more martial costume, Rustin's fave, was first seen at SDCC 2018. The figure was never officially cancelled, but with Mattel losing the DC license as of this year, he's never going to be released.
