Dungeons & Dragons: Hank's stats

From the Dungeons & Dragons Animated Series Handbook, here are Hank's stats:

"The oldest among the kids. Hank acts as their leader throughout their adventures in the Realm. Self-disciplined and dependable, Hank leads because the others respect his judgment, not because he's bossy or imperious. Hank's greatest fear is that he'll do something to lose his friends' respect and thus lose their friendship."

I know that a lot of people find Eric the most interesting of the kids because he had the most character development, but I always liked Hank the best because the way he led kind of reminded me of G1 cartoon Optimus Prime: he didn't have boss you around, he just seemed to have enough confidence that he knew what he was doing that you felt confident too.

It's why I kind of dislike when people mock him for being a flat character. Like, yes, he tries to do the right thing and he tries not to take too many risks, but isn't that the kind of attitude you want from a leader? Even when Eric took charge of the team, he seemed to base his leadership style on Hank's.

Plus (and this is something I didn't realise until many years later), I did find it cute that partway through the series you'd get the stock footage of the kids at camp where he and Sheila are all but cuddling. Meanwhile, poor Snake-Eyes' romance with Scarlet was completely cut out of the 80s G.I.Joe cartoon.
