{"id":18890,"date":"2003-01-22T04:05:55","date_gmt":"2003-01-22T09:05:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/?p=18890"},"modified":"2015-03-27T04:09:41","modified_gmt":"2015-03-27T08:09:41","slug":"motu-tri-klops-addendum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/2003\/01\/motu-tri-klops-addendum\/","title":{"rendered":"MotU Tri-Klops addendum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A side note for today's <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/poe\/motutri.php\"><i>Masters of the Universe<\/i> Tri-Klops<\/a> review.<\/p>\n<p>While I enjoy the fantasy aspects of <i>MotU<\/i>, and am pleased that so many characters carry swords and axes, I can't help but think such weapons seem rather silly in a world that has laser rifles and cannons and whatnot. Of course, <i>MotU<\/i> is a perfect example of a marketing department attempting to throw together everything young boys like - robots, guns, lasers, monsters, animals, swords - all the trappings of both science fiction and fantasy.
