People known more as character actors than action stars, and thus unlikely candidates for plastic representation.<\/p>\n<p>Our honoree this time is Christopher Walken, who you know as-- oh, come on, you know Christopher Walken.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"425\" height=\"240\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/X7yo5THGJWQ?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->In the 1950s, \"Ronnie Walken\" and his brothers Kenneth and Glenn were all child actors - in fact, he and Glenn originated the role of Michael Bauer on the soap opera <i>Guiding Light<\/i> in 1954. During his teenage years, he worked as a lion tamer. He played Annie Hall's crazy brother in 1977, and was considered for the role of Han Solo. In 1978, he won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/pvzgw1_fszcc.php\"><i>The Deer Hunter<\/i><\/a>. He's known for playing characters who are off-kilter or weird, and he has a fever that can only be cured by more cowbell.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/istryf_cwalken1.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"255\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>It was his small role in Tim Burton's <i>Sleepy Hollow<\/i> that earned him an action figure, though. McFarlane Toys made a small four-figure line, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/mcshhh.php\">the carded version of the Headless Horseman<\/a> included a Walken head.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/istryf_cwalken2.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"715\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>He's been a villain for both Bond and Batman, but it's Burton who got him turned into plastic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is the latest in a series (of indefinite length and regularity) of pieces pointing out odd action figures of unlikely actors.
