Our figure today is ToyBiz's Blade.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, apparel and designer toys brand <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bakedinny.com\" target=_blank>Cookies -N- Cream<\/a> ran an interview with one of our favorite sculptors, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inuart.com\/\" target=_blank>Dave Cortes<\/a>. There were lots of shots of the prototypes he has on display in his studio, including this beaut:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/cortesblade.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/cortesblade-300x204.jpg\" title=\"Blade\" width=\"300\" height=\"204\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Among the partially disassembled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/ml11_im.php\">Hulkbuster<\/a>, the two-up showing Eddie Wires' original paint design for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/mlh2_thor.php\">Thor<\/a>, and the revelation that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/mlwm_aoas.php\">\"Age of Apocalypse\" Sabretooth<\/a> was originally going to have an alternate calm head (sadly, the photo crops out a potential image of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/art\/mlwm_aoas7.jpg\">Wild Child<\/a> that was also cut from the final release), we can see a new Deadpool and a Blade the Vampire Hunter that's never been seen anywhere.
