Our figure today is Tonka's Fossilsaurus.<\/p>\n<p>Fossilsaurus would have been part of the <i>GoBots<\/i>-spinoff <i>Rock Lords<\/i> line, a four-figure combiner that turned into a T. rex skeleton (or something thereabouts):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/fossilsaurus.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/fossilsaurus-259x300.jpg\" title=\"Fossilsaurus (click to embiggen)\" width=\"259\" height=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->While a version of this toy was released in Japan (and was even animated, as seen in the video below), \"the Fossil Lord team\" lacked the bony design seen on this prototype. Apparently the members of the team had very straightforward names: Jawbone, Ribcage, Hipbone and Tailbone.
