Our figures today are Underground Toys' <i>Doctor Who<\/i> Minimates.<\/p>\n<p>The figures were shown off at Toy Fair 2008, and featured the Tenth Doctor:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dwmm1.jpg\" title=\"Doctor Who\" width=\"390\" height=\"455\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->In two forms, no less. This trenchcoat version would have had a new sonic screwdriver hand:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dwmm2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dwmm2-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At one point they were planning to do Rose to go with him:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dwmm3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dwmm3-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But that was changed to Martha Jones:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dwmm4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dwmm4-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They were even going to make Captain Jack:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dwmm5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dwmm5-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As well as going back to do the Ninth Doctor:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dwmm6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/dwmm6-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And look, there were even going to be villains!
