{"id":24699,"date":"2017-08-13T00:00:02","date_gmt":"2017-08-13T04:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/?p=24699"},"modified":"2017-10-09T04:43:08","modified_gmt":"2017-10-09T08:43:08","slug":"terror-dog-addendum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/2017\/08\/terror-dog-addendum\/","title":{"rendered":"Terror Dog addendum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In today's review of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/dstgb_td.php\">Diamond Select Toys' <i>Ghostbusters<\/i> Terror Dog<\/a>, we showed you the Tom Enriquez design sketch that eventually led to the beast fans know and love.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/art\/dstgb_td3.png\" width=\"315\" height=\"255\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>And here's Kurt Connors' first clay sculpture of that design:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/tdog01.jpg\" width=\"365\" height=\"375\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>But since the script was so vague, a lot of different designs were submitted by the art team.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->These two are also by Enriquez: one shaggy with an extending head, the other lumbering and dimwitted.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/tdog04.jpg\" width=\"365\" height=\"255\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/tdog09.jpg\" width=\"365\" height=\"295\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>This fuzzy, alien-lookin' thing was created by John Daveikis:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/tdog03.jpg\" width=\"380\" height=\"275\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>Robert Kline turned in several designs with a strong skeletal feel:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/tdog12.jpg\" width=\"365\" height=\"275\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/tdog02.jpg\" width=\"365\" height=\"375\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/tdog11.jpg\" width=\"495\" height=\"255\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>(That one, by the way, is the origin of the \"dog\" part of the Terror Dogs' name.
