<\/a>Remember the good ol' days, when the Transformers BotBots<\/a><\/i> actually came with instruction sheets that showed us where they lived in the mall? If you look at the west wing<\/a>, you'll find two stores where the Swag Stylers<\/a> live. Ollie Bite lives down on the ground floor.<\/p>\n

Trying to pass a baseball cap off as some kind of fancy status symbol reminds me of nothing so much as Key & Peele's \"Dueling Hats<\/a>\" sketch - that perfectly flat bill says \"I bought this to show off, not to enjoy.\" The sculpted stitching on the brim is nice, but there's a big flash of red across the top of the hat, no matter how you position the pieces; they should have painted part of it grey, to match the rest of the hat's body.<\/p>\n

It's not hard to convert BotBots<\/i>: all you have to do fold out the fin, hinge the bill down to the bottom and rotate it around, pull the arms out to the side, and swing down the legs.<\/p>\n

Is that a... shark... on someone's head!!? Close - it's Ollie Bite, a super rad shark-hat bot who's swimming in skater style. Who cares if she doesn't actually skate? Or swim? She's brimming with radness.<\/i><\/p>\n

In her robot mode, Ollie Bite looks a lot like a Sharkticon<\/a> - round body, big mouth, tiny limbs, etc. The button on the top of the cap becomes a single cycloptic eye, and the jaw is hinged, so Ollie can actually bite! They should have named her \"Bites,\" with an S, and also made her a him - Ollie Bites, \"all he bites,\" get it? The \"ollie\" part of the name presumably comes from the skate trick<\/a>, but would you really see a skater wearing a flat bill? Then again, they did say she was a poser, so maybe it works after all.<\/p>\n

Ollie is one of the most plentiful Series 2 BotBots<\/i>, available in four different packs: two Swag Stylers, one Spoiled Rotten, and even blind-packed<\/a> (as #17). And that's good, because counting the altmode, the robot mode, and the conversion process, this is absolutely one of the best toys in the line.<\/p>\n

<\/a>The east wing<\/a> of the Transformers BotBots<\/i><\/a> mall is home to a simply gigantic play space stretching from the ground floor to the roof, because they had a lot of Arcade Renegades<\/a> to introduce. That means there's plenty of room for prizes and games, with Pixelfin being found up on the highest level.<\/p>\n

Pixelfin is the same baseball cap mold as Ollie Bites, just done in blue and gray instead of brick red and grey. It's still a nice look, helped in no small part by the fact that this time there's no big blatant stripe of the wrong color marring the front of the hat. The bill is far thicker than a real one would be, but if they'd molded it to be thin enough, it wouldn't have looked as good on the toy.<\/p>\n

Pixelfin is the ultimate arcade game fanboy. He's always super pumped to see the top bots go head-to-head on his favorite arcade games. However, sitting on top of their heads while they're playing the game can be a little distracting.<\/i><\/p>\n

Now that really seems like a stretch! The game machines being Arcade Renegades? Yes, absolutely. The food items? Eh, sketchy, but we'll allow it. Now we've got an item that isn't even meant to be a prize or part of the workers' uniforms, and is instead just a thing that someone wore in the arcade one time? That's pushing it. Not that the instruction sheet's decision to label him part of the Techie Team<\/a> makes any more sense. Pixelfin is a great-looking robot with an articulated jaw, but his teeth aren't painted as prominently as Ollie's.<\/p>\n

Pixelfin is only available in the Arcade Renegades Surprise<\/a> set, of course, but he is available in three out of six versions of it, hidden down in one of the blind-pack buttons.<\/p>\n
