<\/a>Back during Series 2, the Transformers BotBots<\/i><\/a> were divided into 11 teams, based on what store in the mall they hail from. The west<\/a> wing of the mall had two restaurants, one on the ground floor and one on the second floor, and both were home to members of the Greaser Gang<\/a>. Sir Botcha is upstairs.<\/p>\n

Sriracha (ซอสศรีราชา) is a hot sauce made from chili peppers, vinegar, garlic, sugar, and salt. It was created in the early 1930s in or around the town of Si Racha, Thailand, based on a concoction made at home by visiting Burmese workers. There are competing claims as to who originated it, but if one person could copy an immigrant recipe, why couldn't two? In America, the stuff is most commonly associated with Huy Fong Foods' brand, sold in a red bottle with a green lid and a drawing of a rooster on the front. This bottle is a dark orange, suggesting we're seeing the actual sauce inside. The cap is yellow, and the while label on the front shows a picture of a pepper and some flames<\/a> - if not for his name, you could have assumed this was just a bottle of salsa or something.<\/p>\n

BotBots<\/i> convert easily. Open the panels on the front of the bottle, lift the arms up, fold down the legs, and turn the lid to reveal his face.<\/p>\n

Sir Botcha loves to eat and he loves the heat! He never turns down an eating challenge... no matter how much the competition heats up. If you can't take the heat, stay out of his food court!<\/i><\/p>\n

With a name like \"Sir Botcha,\" it's surprising they didn't try to make him another knight<\/a> to fight all those dragons. The sculpt really fits with his \"eating champion\" bio, with a bib around his neck, and utensils sculpted in the pockets on his chest. The painted face may not have the bulging cheeks of the official art, but the beads of sweat do at least fit with the theme. His arms are green, bringing in a dash of the color at last!<\/p>\n

Sir Botcha is only available in a blindpacked<\/a>, where he's #19. The mold has been reused several times, though.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Babies need attention. Stupid babies need the most<\/a> attention! And apparently Transformers BotBots<\/i><\/a> babies need two stores in the mall all to themselves, because that's what's going on in the east wing<\/a> where the Goo Goo Groupies<\/a> live. Bottle O'Tears is down on the ground floor, apparently being force-fed to Nampy<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Devices specifically for feeding milk to infants have existed for about 3,000 years. Early examples were fired clay or hollowed-out animal horns, then eventually metal, glass, and finally plastic. The rubber nipple was patented in 1845, but it took several decades before the technology to make them reliably caught up with the idea. The body of this bottle is white, suggesting we're seeing the milk inside it, and there are pink rings around the top and bottom. The cap is a light blue, and the nipple is yellow. All the colors are suitably pale (despite the fact that babies can only discern black-and-white patterns at first, and then bold, saturated colors after that), making this look like something that would be in a baby's collection of personal items.<\/p>\n

Bottle O'Tears can't help but cry - all the time. You may think there is no use crying over spilt milk, but he certainly does! It's hard for him not to take the loss personally... sometimes Bottle O'Tears gets upset about crying all the time - so he cries.<\/i><\/p>\n

Notorious B.O'T.'s face tampo matches his bio well: his mouth is open in a dramatic wail, his eyes are scrunched shut, and tears pour down his cheeks. What liquid is that, anyway? Is he crying his milk out? Will he eventually be empty? The bib molded on the chest works nicely here (with a little cow on it), though they were smart to leave the utensils in his pockets unpainted. There's no articulation to speak of, and getting him to balance with those big wings behind him can be tricky.<\/p>\n

Bottle O'Tears was available in a Fresh Squeezes 8-pack, or two different Goo Goo Groupies 8-packs. After this release in Series 3, the mold was also reused for a bottle of green salsa in Series 4 and a bottle of soy sauce in Series 5.<\/p>\n

<\/a>The Hibotchi Heats<\/a> were introduced in Series 5 of the Transformers BotBots<\/i><\/a>, which means they don't get art showing them in the mall. Boo! But any Asian restaurant worth its salted fish would have soy sauce available, so finding it wouldn't be a surprise.<\/p>\n

Soy sauce was created more than 2,000 years ago in China's Western Han Dynasty. It's a thin liquid made from soybean paste, grain, salt water, and mold, which has all been allowed to ferment. It's one of the prime examples of \"umami\" flavor, which basically means \"tasty\" but is generally translated as \"savory.\" Its color is a darker brown than this bottle shows, but maybe Hasbro was afraid the paint would come out black instead? The label looks like a representation of The Great Wave Off Kanagawa<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Drama Sauce is soy dramatic. She greets each day with carefully choreographed musical numbers about reawakening. When passing other bots in the mall, she recites theatrical monologues about chance meetings. And she only expresses joy with show-stopping tap dances. To this drama queen, the mall is her stage. And she's going to give the performance of a lifetime...<\/i><\/p>\n

Oh, so she's Rachel from Glee<\/i>? Enjoy your non-existent Tony Award, Drama Sauce! Of all the uses of this mold, Drams takes minimalism to new heights. New lows? Whichever. While she's till got the sculpted bib and utensils that come with this body, there's not a drop of paint on them. Or anywhere on her body at all - the hands and feet are the same brown as everything else. Her face is white, with a big red smile that doesn't quite match the color of the bottle's lid, and eyes happily shut, yet still showing off their giant lashes.<\/p>\n
