Our figure today is Galoob's <i>Dinosaucers<\/i> Stego.<\/p>\n<p>Like comicbooks in the '90s, the '80s were a boom time for cartoons, with nearly anything being greenlit. In 1987, DiC Entertainment and Coca-Cola partnered to create <i>Dinosaucers<\/i>, a show about alien dinosaurs from the planet Reptilon who come to Earth for reasons. Toys were planned, including the heroic Dinosaucers' dim, panicky new recruit, Stego.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2004\/03\/ds_d_st.jpg\" title=\"Dinosaucers Stego\" width=\"445\" height=\"555\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>Each of the figures would have come with a lenticular card showing the character and their dinosaur equivalent.<\/p>\n<p>The cartoon got poor ratings, with some stations opting to pull it from rotation rather than showing reruns of its 65 episodes.
