This is the latest in a series (of indefinite length and regularity) of blog posts memorializing cancelled toys. Our subjects today are more of Galoob's Dinosaucers<\/i> ships.<\/p>\n

The \"saucer\" part of the Dinosaucers' name came from the fact that they were aliens, and they all flew their own ships. Ships that were shaped like them.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Each of the ships had opening cockpits, and some other moveable feature: for instance, Genghis Rex's ship had laser turrets that could slide out from under the wings, and Ankylo's ship had a swiveling cannon.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

While all the characters on the show had their own vehicle, these toys would have paired them up, with two semi-articulated 1\" figures included in each set (the arms and legs would have \"pass-through\" joints that made them both move as one).<\/p>\n

If these molds were also sold to Glasslite, like the 8\" figures were, they were never used and have never surfaced since.<\/p>\n
