Okay, now all I can think about is the time Lisa Simpson grew a giant tomato for the science fair and was daydreaming about some poor third-world family thanking her specifically as they sliced it for supper<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Apparently both the Ant-Man and Wasp costumes changed between the second and third movies, though you'd never know it from looking. Like, yellow wasp-face<\/a> in 2, yellow wasp-face in 3. Same costume. But this time she's accented with blue instead of red, and the yellow in the film is as vibrant as the yellow on the toy. The pattern is just different enough that this needs to be a totally new mold, instead of a repaint. She's really starting to look more \"Yellowjacket\" than \"Wasp,\" though.<\/p>\n

The Ant-Man 2<\/i> Wasp figure had a beautifully accurate likeness on its unmasked Evangeline Lilly head. This one is very good as well, though this haircut is a lot less flattering. The mask is similar to the previous movie's, though flatter all around: no point on top, no long snout in front. It does still have eyes behind the clear yellow visor, though this time they seem to be inserted from underneath? Judging by the plug of pink plastic visible inside the mask. Although the colors on the suit are brighter than before, the helmet is darker, which makes the eyes stand out more. She's got the same two wing backpacks as before (open or closed), and your choice of relaxed hands or fists.<\/p>\n

Wasp includes the right leg of Cassie Lang<\/a>, this series' Build-A-Figure.<\/p>\n

And that's definitely to her benefit, because while Quantumania<\/i> was a great<\/b> Kang<\/a> movie, it was only a so-so Ant-Man and Wasp movie, and this design is close enough to the existing on that you'd probably be fine skipping it if not for the BAF part.<\/p>\n
