Our figure today is SOTA's Lord Raptor.<\/p>\n<p>Like we said <a href=\"\/blog\/?p=41210\">last month<\/a>, SOTA was going to do a spin-off\/expansion of their <i>Street Fighter<\/i> line, featuring Capcom's monster-based 2D fighter, <i>Darkstalkers<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/dslrapharb.jpg\" title=\"Darkstalkers Lord Raptor by Will Harbottle\" width=\"380\" height=\"540\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The line took so long to come to fruition, SOTA actually commissioned two sculpts of Lord Raptor. The first, in the style of the early <i>Street Fighter<\/i> figures, was sculpted by Will Harbottle, who did <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/sf2th.php\">several<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/sf4ibu.php\">of the<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/shocka\/sf5zang.php\">other<\/a> figures in the line. The second, more in the style of the later <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/sf5dhal.php\">Street Fighter Revolutions<\/a><\/i> line, was done by Alexi Bustamente, and actually showed off his accessories: a couple guitars, and his odd sidekick creature thing, Le Malta.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/dslrapbust.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/dslrapbust-300x300.jpg\" title=\"Darkstalkers Lord Raptor by Alexi Bustamente\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Like Demitri, Lord Raptor was the subject of a too-soon-for-its-own-good online crowdfunding campaign, but failed to reach the 3500 orders needed.
