Our figure today is another from the planned mid-2000s <i>Darkstalkers<\/i> line, aka \"<i>Street Fighter<\/i> with monsters.\"<\/p>\n<p>Anakaris the mummy was shown at SDCC 2006 - in fact, if you look behind <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/?p=41523\">Morrigan<\/a> in that photo we showed, you'll see that he was going to have flat hands in addition to the \"bent back\" versions with the eyes in the palms seen on this Will Harbottle prototype:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/dsanakaris.jpg\" title=\"Darkstalkers Anakaris\" width=\"510\" height=\"580\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>Originally planned for Series 1, Anakaris was dropped when the lineup was shuffled in an effort to draw more attention to the line.
