The figures <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/mphg_sr.php\">were fine<\/a> for the time, though they certainly could have been a lot better; maybe if they had been, Series 2 wouldn't have been cancelled.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/dstmphg2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/dstmphg2-300x240.jpg\" title=\"click to embiggen\" width=\"300\" height=\"240\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sir Lancelot, the Old Man from Scene 24, and Sir Galahad wouldn't have given us <b>every<\/b> character we needed, but it would at least have given us one figure of all the Pythons (though honestly, Carol Cleveland deserves to be recognized as a member of the troupe, and a Zoot figure would have been welcome, too).<\/p>\n<p>It seems sales on Series 1 simply weren't good enough to make producing Series 2 worth it, but this is certainly a license someone should take a modern attempt at. Imagine today's DST doing these the same way they do <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/?p=36434\"><i>Lord of the Rings<\/i><\/a>, with a Knights Who Say Ni Build-A-Figure.
