Our subject today is Hasbro's \"Engine of Vengeance\" HasLab campaign.<\/p>\n<p>The third <i>Marvel Legends<\/i> HasLab, after the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/xmlhl_sent.php\">Sentinel<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/shocka\/ffmlhl_gal.php\">Galactus<\/a>, the \"<a href=\"https:\/\/hasbropulse.com\/products\/marvel-legends-haslab-engine-of-vengeance\" target=\"bro\" rel=\"noopener\">Engine of Vengeance<\/a>\" set would have featured current Ghost Rider Robbie Reyes, as well as his hell-powered Dodge Charger.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/mlhlgr1.jpg\" title=\"Ghost Driver\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Just like with previous campaigns, they attempted to entice backers with the promise of extra figures, starting with the Goblyn Queen at 10,000 backers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/mlhlgr2.jpg\" title=\"Goblyn Queen\" width=\"540\" height=\"540\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>And Daimon Hellstrom at 11,000:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/mlhlgr3.jpg\" title=\"Hellstrom\" width=\"540\" height=\"540\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>Clearly they were aiming for figures they would never be able to make and sell at retail without upsetting lower-case-C-conservative fundamentalists, and they really went for it with the 12,000-backer unlock, Mephisto:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/mlhlgr4.jpg\" title=\"Mephisto\" width=\"550\" height=\"640\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>Sadly, the campaign did not even meet its minimum. And it's been apparent for several weeks now that it wasn't going to.
