We 100% didn't need this.<\/p>\n

The amazing android Vision commands unearthly powers and abilities to fight for humanity as a member of the Avengers.<\/i><\/p>\n

It was only a few years ago that Hasbro made a regular Vision<\/a> in their first Marvel Legends Retro Collection<\/i> series, and this figure is, fundamentally, that. Again. It's a different body (the last one used the largest superarticulated body they had at the time<\/a>, and this new one uses the largest superarticulated body they have now<\/a>), but it's still the same thing we already had. This was an opportunity to finally make the single Vision costume they haven't yet; they've done the crappy Marvel NOW! costume<\/a>, they've done the even crappier ANAD<\/abbr> costume<\/a>... this was their chance to do the '90s \"reversed colors\" costume, with the yellow chest and green cape. But no. Instead, the same thing that already existed. How exciting.<\/p>\n

Like so many uses of this body, the figure includes fist and open hands alike. Given the direction Hasbro has been moving in the past year or so, it's frankly a bit surprising they didn't drop one of those, since they already had to make a new cape for him. The figure's head is also new, sculpted by hyper-conscious mind living a thousand lifetimes at once, Paul Harding. It would have worked as-is for Vihz's later costume. Fun fact: according to Harding, the sculpt was done for the Avengers 60th Anniversary<\/i> line, but it got bumped and is just being reused here because it was the first place Hasbro could find to put it.<\/p>\n

This figure is part of Marvel Legends<\/i> Series 11, and so comes with a piece of the Void<\/a> Build-A-Figure, something which is doing this reheated design no favors in the sales department. He gets the head, with its open mouth and silly little Beetlejuice<\/i> legs sticking out of it.<\/p>\n

The Retro Collection<\/i> Vision came out in 2020<\/s> 2018, so there were surely a few people who wanted to get it but missed the chance, but that's no excuse for releasing a functionally identical one today. This figure's fine, but there's nothing special, no above-average appeal to make it something worth tracking down, especially not at $25 and with real stores being unwilling to carry it.<\/p>\n
