Why? Why is this figure a thing? Is the world's biggest Brother Voodoo fan holding Hasbro's family members hostage? What possible excuse is there for releasing this today? This figure is functionally identical to the two - TWO!<\/b> - Brother Voodoo Marvel Legends<\/i> released before. The cape is different, the wristbands are different, the facepaint is more subtle, the chest is the one that has a few cloth \"wrinkles\" on the pecs and abs instead of pure muscles, but this is 100%, unequivocally, without question a figure that was not needed. The first version<\/a> was only available as an SDCC exclusive, sure, but the second<\/a> was in the Doctor Strange<\/i> movie line, and was so plentiful that it ended up at discount stores like Five Below. Casting his staff from translucent purple and including some energy swirls<\/a> is not enough to make this worthwhile.<\/p>\n Making a new toy of Brother Voodoo is fine: the problem is making him in the same goddamn costume everybody already had two shots at getting before. Even if you keep the head and the stick, do his Uncanny Avengers costume, do his silly 1970s costume<\/a>, do anything other<\/b> than the same version of an exceedingly minor character for the third straight time, or take him out of the line and swap somebody else in. Because (until somebody corrects me because I missed some huge secondary market demand that cropped up in the intervening years for a figure that could have been had, new, for $5) this is junk.<\/p>\n![\"BAF](\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/stml1_bv2.jpg\")
You'll need to get this figure if you want to complete the Blackheart<\/a> Build-A-Figure, though, because he includes the right leg.<\/p>\n
