Our figure today is Hasbro's <i>Classics<\/i> Cosmos.<\/p>\n<p>As mentioned in today's <a href=\"\/yo\/tfcl_cosmos.php\"><i>Transformers Universe 2.0<\/i> Cosmos review<\/a>, concept art was created for the original <i>Classic<\/i> line by Don Figueroa, but was rejected for being too boring (Hasbro's words, not ours.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/yo\/art\/tfcl_cosmos7.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"320\" title=\"Don F's Cosmos concept\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>The fan reaction when the art was shown off at BotCon convinced the higher-ups to reconsider, though, so the design was resurrected for the <i>Titanium Series<\/i>, which saw many \"popular with fans, not with real people\" designs come to life.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/yo\/art\/tfcl_cosmos8.jpg\" width=\"380\" height=\"500\" title=\"Titanium Cosmos\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>The 6\" <i>Titanium<\/i> figures had poor distribution, and eventually future releases were cancelled. Resin hardcopies of several figures were displayed at BotCon 2007 (in robot mode, with photos of the altmodes), since that was the only way fans would ever get to see the work that had been done.
