Her gimmick, as a character, is that she wears comedy and tragedy masks, which seem to control her emotions, but the comedy mask is fragile and breaks constantly. (The tragedy mask, in contrast, seems impervious.) Her body is made from four ribbons: one coiled around to be a torso, one streching out to be both arms, and one for each leg. They're not connected to each other, just sort of vaguely floating near one another in the shape of a body.

Since Gangle's body is so unusual and topologically incomplete, turning her into a 3D figurine would present some unique challenges - even more than Kinger's hands. Moose Toys has managed this by two means: first, making the ribbons much bulkier than they'd normally be, and second, by having her all hunched over and kneeling, basically curled into a ball to become more solid. She's holding the shattered halves of her comedy mask, which has the eyes and mouth sculpted in rather than just being painted. The big blue tears on her tragedy mask hang off the cheeks, and if you turn her around to look at the back, you can see how nicely layered the ribbon body is.

And now, some more OAFEry:

The Amazing Digital Circus: All-Stars Kinger review

The Amazing Digital Circus: All-Stars Caine review

The Amazing Digital Circus: All-Stars Pomni review

[19,496
497
post-47097","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-blog-exclusive-review","category-moose-toys","tag-digital-circus
["GET
