Their specialized containment packs store harnessed extradimensional energies of an unknown origin which are then channeled through the Ghost-Viper's suit or projector. The spectral ectoplasm can manifest as bursts of gas or, with proper attunement and user concentration, as physical forms such as claws or masks, all of which induce a preternatural fear in those nearby. Truly adept Ghost-Vipers manifest DIRE Beasts, full-sized corporeal creatures - DIRE wolves and DIRE snakes - that attack on command. Most Ghost-Vipers are &quot;a little off&quot; due to long-term exposure to the vented energy.
