He's the guy behind <i>Ren & Stimpy<\/i>. He's got this <a href=\"http:\/\/johnkstuff.blogspot.com\/2006\/10\/death-of-form.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rant about toys<\/a> on his blog, and what it basically boils down to is \"I liked stuff better when I was a kid.\" He's holding up all these godawful, ugly toys as better than the ugly toys of today, simply because (as far as I can tell) the kind of stuffing they used in the '60s is different than the kind of stuffing they use today.<\/p>\n<p>Cripes, just because you have an inordinate soft spot for the toys you had as a kid, it neither makes <b>them<\/b> good nor new ones bad. Sorry, Homer, rock didn't attain perfection in 1974 and the world didn't attain perfection the day before you hit puberty.<\/p>\n<p>Waxing nostalgic about terrible toys from our childhoods is one thing, but when you've convinced yourself that they weren't crap?
