{"id":6614,"date":"2011-11-22T01:17:50","date_gmt":"2011-11-22T06:17:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/?p=6614"},"modified":"2025-02-27T00:48:18","modified_gmt":"2025-02-27T05:48:18","slug":"chevy-using-hasbro-and-neca-toys-in-a-national-tv-commercial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/2011\/11\/chevy-using-hasbro-and-neca-toys-in-a-national-tv-commercial\/","title":{"rendered":"Chevy using Hasbro and NECA toys in a national TV commercial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There's a new Chevy ad that's been on tv for a few weeks, and it's relevant to our interests.<\/p>\n<p><center><object width=\"425\" height=\"246\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/Mrl-mm-7WM8&rel=0&color1=0x003366&color2=0x0099cc&border=0\"><\/param><param name=\"wmode\" value=\"transparent\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/Mrl-mm-7WM8&rel=0&color1=0x003366&color2=0x0099cc&border=0\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" wmode=\"transparent\" width=\"425\" height=\"246\"><\/embed><\/object><\/center><\/p>\n<p>You'll notice the fine print in the ad, there: \"Select toys provided by Hasbro and used with permission.\" We don't give a crap about Chevy any more than any other car manufacturer, but it's really cool to glance up at the TV and see some of the toys we love so much.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->It's not just Hasbro toys, though: he's got Lincoln Logs, which are a K'Nex product, and you must recognize <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/yo\/necaps1tr.php\">NECA's 12\" Lara Croft<\/a> in there, as well. But here's a list of the Hasbro toys that make an appearance.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A 12\" GI Joe<\/li>\n<li>Arctic Doc<\/li>\n<li>Storm Shadow<\/li>\n<li>Repugnus<\/li>\n<li>Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head<\/li>\n<li>Twilight Sparkle<\/li>\n<li>a Blythe doll<\/li>\n<li>Barrel of Monkeys<\/li>\n<li>Tinkertoys<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also, it's cool to see an ad unabashedly showing a boy playing with \"girl\" toys.
