Well here's an unexpected surprise: according to page 127, DCD is now making Ratchet & Clank<\/b> toys. You'd think that's the type of thing they would have announced before it showed up in Previews. The toys look nice, but no indication of articulation yet.<\/p>\n
History of the DC Universe<\/b> gets a truly ugly Superman, a too-shiny Plastic Man, plus Ocean Master and Brainiac. See them on page 134.<\/p>\n
Just in time for the toys' cancellation comes GI Joe Combat Heroes<\/b> the book. Aww, so cute! And also $16. WTF? Page 257.<\/p>\n
Here's an interesting book: Build Your Own Paper Robots<\/b>. It's basically unlicensed Transformers origami. Check it out for yourself on page 320.<\/p>\n
Remember when the toy section used to start on page 500 or so? Well, here we are on page 338 with a bunch of Battlestar Galactica<\/b> figures.<\/p>\n
The Marvel Select Daredevil<\/b> figure on page 343 isn't terribly interesting by himself, but the note in the solicitation - \"one third of a deluxe three-part urban display base\" - sure piques the interest. Wonder who he's going to connect with?<\/p>\n
Page 346 has Star Trek<\/b> two-packs and an exclusive Salt Vampire.<\/p>\n
GI Joe<\/b> gets a big listing on page 351, but no photos.<\/p>\n
Mezco keeps up with thelatest trends on page 352, offering 3 3\/4\" and\"Hasbro Heroes\" style Cinema of Fear<\/b> toys. And really, how small is the Exorcist box set<\/b> that it only costs $9.25?<\/p>\n
Did you know online retailer Amok Time has been making 7\" NECA-style action figures<\/b>? Page 354 shows their versions of Tarman zombie, Elvira, and a Killer Klown from Outer Space.<\/p>\n
Lego<\/b>'s listing on page 355 has new Indiana Jones stuff, as well as some Bionicle listings - including Mata Nui himself, the main god of the story! On the next page, there are three Star Wars sets, all marked \"Confidential 2005.\" Has Lego been sitting on these that long?<\/p>\n
Page 358 has listings for Harry Potter <\/b>and 9<\/b> figures (that second one, of course, based on the new Tim Burton movie).<\/p>\n
There are some really nice Star Wars<\/b> comic packs listed on page 366, but it's nothing we didn't already know about.<\/p>\n
On page 367, you'll find NECA's Terminator 2<\/b> offerings, which put Playmates' stuff to shame.<\/p>\n
Mezco's Wolfman<\/b> is relisted on page 369, next to the Little Big Planet<\/b> toys (Awesome!) and the Dead Space<\/b> figure (eh.). On the next page, you'll see more Gears of War<\/b>, a second Street Fighter<\/b> and Alex Mercer from Prototype<\/b>.<\/p>\n
