Being both a new character and one so unique, fan interest in him was high. So logically, he sold out in four minutes.<\/p>\n<p>However, what Mattel failed to tell anyone prior to the sale was that they hadn't gotten their full order: half of the figures were lost somewhere. Apparently it should have taken them eight minutes to sell out.
