This is the latest in a series (of indefinite length and regularity) of blog posts memorializing cancelled toys. Our subject today is Playmates' Earthworm Jim "Evil Jim".
Part of the planned Series 2 (shown off at Toy Fair 1996), this figure would have been a budget-saving repaint, reusing a plain Series 1 body with a new head.
"Evil Jim" was a character seen on the show (alongside other evil copies of Jim's friends) and in the Game Boy game, so it would likely have been popular, had it been made.
