Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick talked to MTV Movies Blog talking about their plans for the script and why they're looking forward to working on it. And the best news?
"We can say that we will be faithful to the first film," Reese explained of their plans for the sequel. "We will not be ignoring events from the first in the second."
"It will be a sequel," added Wernick. "It will be a continuation of G.I. Joe."
Notice that they say they're going to Pawtucket to meet with Hasbro about the characters. This is all great news!
