I finally made it to the Hasbro booth today (full update later, I promise). Turns out there's an unannounced surprise in the GI Joe "Danger at the Docks" exclusive set: a footlocker full of weapons!
Most of the weaponry is based on existing accessories, but remolded to have new details. A few of the pieces, however, were intended to come with various figures over the years, but were removed from cost. Here's a picture of what you get, and a key showing what's been changed:
- A: shovel (new)
- B: Resolute rifle (remolded scope and barrel)
- C: HK USC (added silencer)
- D: USAS-12 machine gun (removed top handle)
- E: harpoon gun (remolded grips)
- F: submachine gun (new)
- G: radio (new)
- H: small knife
- I: straight knife (new; intended for Battle Kata Roadblock, cut for budget reasons)
- J: curved knife (new; intended for PoC Clutch, cut for budget reasons)
- K: Strider cord-wrapped hatchet (black, removed peg on side)
- L: small hatchet (new; intended for Renegades Zartan, cut for budget reasons)
- M: large knife (new)
- N: axe (new to GI Joe; originally from 2009's Wolverine Origins Logan)
- O: submachine gun
- P: MP5K (removed scope)
- Q: small pistol
- R: pistol with laser sight (added silencer)
- S: KRISS Vector (first time in black)
- T: Viper rifle (new)
- U: wrist crossbow (new; intended for Road Pig, cut for budget reasons)
- V: spotter's scope (remolded lens)
It's enough to make you want to buy it!
