Hypno-Hustler addendum

Here's where his big boots came from:

A comic page set up like the old PSA advertisements. Title: The Hobgoblin in 'Music to My Ears!'

Panel 1: Hypno-Hustler stands in front of a high school with a sign outside promoting a 70s night dance party, with tickets for $10.
Hypno-Hustler: Ha! The Hypno-Hustler has come up with the perfect plan. By using their own music to hypnotize them, I'll make these kids steal the cover charge for me.

Panel 2: The kids bring Hypno-Hustler the money.
Kids (in unison): Here is the money we made selling tickets.
Hypno-Hustler: Ha! Groovy!

Panel 3: Hobgoblin flies in.
Hobgoblin: Not so fast, Hypno-Hustler!
Hypno Hustler: The Hobgoblin? Get him, kds!

Panel 4: Hobgoblin zaps the speakers.
Hobgoblin: You can't control them if there's no music playing.

Panel 5: Hypno-Hustler lifts one of the kids by his shirt and points him at Hobgoblin.
Kids (in unison): Hey, we're free.
Hypno-Hustler: Get him anyway or I'll whop you good.

Panel 6: Hobgoblin gives a big thumbs up to the camera while all the kids beat up Hypno-Hustler in the background.
Kids (in unison): You can't force us. That's bullying, and bullying isn't cool!
Hypno-Hustler: AHHHH!
Hobgoblin: Sticking up for your friends is the right thing to do. So don't make good manners a chore, make 'em a HOBBY!

And here's what they looked like the rest of the time:
