People known more as character actors than action stars, and thus unlikely candidates for plastic representation.<\/p>\n<p>Our honoree this time is Charles Dance, who you probably best know as Tywin Lannister.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/istryf_cdance1.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Lord High Dickbag is not the first nerd-friendly character Dance has played. Other memorable work includes Deputy Prime Minister David Carlton in <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B0026ISUTW\/lp\" target=amazon>Ali G Indahouse<\/a><\/i>, Clemens in <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B004RE29WW\/lp\" target=amazon>Alien\u00b3<\/a><\/i>, and somebody in the fourth <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B007FFUMKQ\/lp\" target=amazon><i>Underworld<\/i><\/a> (we'd name the character, but nobody saw that movie). He's even been a henchman in a Bond film! But none of those are why he has an action figure. For that, we have his role as Benedict in <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B002V9PEU4\/lp\" target=amazon>Last Action Hero<\/a><\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/istryf_cdance2.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"235\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>Even if you haven't seen <i>Last Action Hero<\/i> since it was in theaters, you probably remember the dude with the weird eye. It's kind of memorable, and it was made into an action figure:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/istryf_cdance3.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"735\" class=\"aligncenter\"><\/p>\n<p>He's been a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, is an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, and increasingly popular among nerds like us.
