On The Walking Dead<\/i>, Shane<\/a> was a villain (Our protagonist, ladies and gentlemen<\/a>!)<\/p>\n When I pulled this figure from the case, I didn't know who it was. I didn't remember Kurt Cobain<\/a> being in The Walking Dead<\/i>, but it would certainly explain all the blood. It wasn't until I realized that the other figure wearing a bloody poncho in this set was her hated son Sam (hated by the audience, not by her) that it clicked for me who this was.<\/p>\n Jessie, on the show, has that sort of hot plainness that makes it no surprise Rick would want her from the start. Her actress, Alexandra Breckenridge, was also Jessie is available in a 1:24 ratio, meaning that rather than being in every case, she's in every other - on the top layer, in the back right corner. Her son Sam is also 1:24, so he takes her spot in the alternating cases.<\/p>\n ...okay, fine, we'll review Sam too.<\/p>\n Sam's Moe Howard bowl cut proves that not only was civilization destroyed ![](\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/funko_wdmmim1_ja1.jpg\" "\\"Jessie")
because he became attracted to another man's wife, then tried to get rid of him so they could be together. Boo Shane! By contrast, when the survivors get to Alexandria, Rick<\/a> became attracted to another man's wife, then tried to get rid of him so they could be together. the maid on the first season of American Horror Story<\/i>, which I only mention because HOT DAMN! Can we get Mystery Minis<\/i> of that, Funko? Clearly this figure is based on Jessie's death scene, what with the guts-covered shroud and all, and she's posed with her hands held out. Like we said, this series also includes her walker-bait youngest son, Sam, and it seems like a missed opportunity that their hands aren't quite posed to hold one another. The grue on her cloak is all paint, not sculpted, with a large red splotch covering most of it, and darker spots splattered about. There is a little bit of variation in the application of the stains - not every Jessie is 100% identical, thanks to some variance in the placement and crispness of the apps. We'll cut the kid a little bit of slack because he's got an abusive father and an older brother who seems to idolize the violent, dangerous man. And pretty much the first thing that happens after he meets the survivors is Carol<\/a> sweetly threatening to tie him to a tree and leave him to die, so it's not like he had the best experience with them. But oh my god, kid, when people who have experience in a subject tell you how to deal with it, listen to them<\/b>. I know it's gross being covered in Walker guts, but if you start whimpering and calling your mom's name, you're going to attract a lot of attention and get everybody in trouble. Which, of course, is precisely what happens, and is why this figure is in the In Memorium<\/i> series.<\/p>\n![](\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/funko_wdmmim1_sa2.jpg\" "\\"wander")
by the zombie plague, so was any sense of fashion or personal pride. The figure is shorter than the adults, though not as short as the actor was in real life - stylization can only go so far. His horrible poncho is smaller overall, but still gets the red and brown apps to make it look gross. As for the pose, he's the opposite of his mom: right arm and left foot forward. And like we said before, it would have been neat if they could hold hands (or at least get their hands near each other): refusing to let go of this little turd's hand was the reason Jessie got killed.<\/p>\n
