<\/a>The mall where the Transformers BotBots<\/i><\/a> live has a restaurant on Level 2, so you'd expect that's where the Greaser Gang<\/a> would hang out. And sure, a few of them are right out front, but even more of them can be found down on Level 1 at the tiny little kiosk. That's weird, isn't it? Why is there so much at the satellite location? It's not like Chili's Too has a better menu than a real Chili's. Though they would have drinks.<\/p>\n

This is the beverage container Sippy Slurps<\/a> only wishes<\/b> she was! Waxy paper cup, flat plastic lid, straw out the top. Normal! The cup is white, with red stripes near the top and bottom. (Me, I'd have gone for blue and purple<\/a>, but maybe they're saving that for a later repaint.) Surprisingly, the straw is articulated, so you can turn it to face different directions - but you can't pull it in and out for a pleasant squeaking sound. The flaps that will become robot parts don't get any paint on them, leaving gaps in the color that you can't avoid.<\/p>\n

BotBots<\/i> are simple by design, so all you have to do to convert this one is pull the arms out to the sides, pull the feet out of the bottom, and flip down the panel over the face. Robot!<\/p>\n

Twerple Burple is a highly carbonated class clown who brings the bubbles and the troubles. She can burp louder and longer than any bot, and her burps send every bot around her into a fit of bubbly laughter. BWWWAAAAARPPPPP!<\/i><\/p>\n

Oh, like Eudora Welty<\/a>! The robot's proportions are odd, with the face-covering sticking way out in front of the stomach and feet that barely even clear the bottom of the body. McDonald's Changeables<\/i><\/a> created three different cup-based bots, and all of them were better than this. Or at least more creative. Twerpie has a black visor that's painted to look like cool sunglasses, and has an angular smile - again, this would look a lot cooler with '90s Sweetheart Jazz colors.
\n<\/p>\n

Twerple Burple is only available in the Series 1 blindpacks<\/a>, where she's #11. Her mold, however, also showed up again in Series 3.<\/p>\n

<\/a>We have no trouble believing that a cloud of Energon would drift onto a mall<\/a> and bring all the merchandise to life - no, the real suspension of disbelief for Transformers BotBots<\/i><\/a> is that any mall today would have a three-story tall arcade. The Arcade Renegades<\/a> are all up and down the floors, but The Fizz is bouncing around on Level 3.<\/p>\n

Reusing Twerple Burple's mold from Series 1, The Fizz is a standard drink cup. Judging by the relative size of the straw and the lid, not even a substantially large cup, either - if this was supposed to be a \"Big Gulp\"-style container, the straw would look a lot smaller, so we're thinking maybe 12 ounces at most? The size of a McDonald's kid-size drink? Definitely not as big as the height:width ratio might lead you to believe. This cup is red with a blue stripe and a blue lid, and the straw poking out the top is white.<\/p>\n

The Fizz is the definition of cool. He walks around the arcade with his slicked back bendy straw and hip shades and just fizzes with awesomeness. Word is The Fizz is so cool that he can just kick an arcade game and get the high score.<\/i><\/p>\n

\"The Fizz\" makes a lot more sense as a name once you read the bio and realize his personality is a takeoff of The Fonz<\/a>, right down to Fonzie's ability to smack a jukebox and get it to play. The robot body is still very chonky, with feet that stick out from the body almost not at all, and the arms seem to stick out of his ears. His \"hip shades\" look less like sunglasses than Twerple's did, and his mouth is open in a different manner. It's surprising that they bothered to paint the insides of the arms a different color, so we could see them.
\n<\/p>\n

The art of The Fizz suggests a slightly different robot mode, one where perhaps the lower edge of the cup split in half and rotated down to become feet? Or maybe that's just the way he was drawn, because being true to the toy wouldn't have been very cool.<\/p>\n
