The figure had a distinct look, with its wide, gaping jaw, and yo wondered whether a normal head would have looked better.<\/p>\n<p>Well, thanks to sculptor Alex Heinke, who did the first rough-out of the character, we can get an idea of what might have been:<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/rudy1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/rudy1-225x300.jpg\" title=\"click to embiggen\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\"><\/a> &nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/rudy2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oafe.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/rudy2-225x300.jpg\" title=\"click to embiggen\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>The original was much more normal, and seems to take some influence from the possessed deer head of <i>Evil Dead 2<\/i>.
