<\/a>Back in the day, the Lost Bots<\/a> were scattered all over the Transformers BotBots<\/i><\/a> mall. For instance, if you look at the first wing of the mall<\/a>, you'll find this little misfit down on the ground near the fountain.<\/p>\n

Once upon a time (in 2016) the Transformers' official Facebook page introduced two new factions: the Memobots and the Deskcepticons, \"Office Bots\" who changed into office supplies. It was just an April Fools' Day gag, but one of the Deskcepticons was \"Stapletron,\" a Transformer who changed into a stapler. Who would have believed that only two years later, the concept would become reality thanks to the BotBots? This bright blue stapler is much wider than a real thing would be (unless it's meant to be at 1:1 scale and would only hold about five staples inside it), but the idea remains intact.<\/p>\n

BotBots<\/i> convert very easily. All you have to do here is unfold the legs, and swing the arms down and to the sides.<\/p>\n

Stinkeye Stapleton is a tough-as-nails peacekeeper who likes to hold things together and make sure everyone gets along. Don't get on his bad side or he'll give you the dreaded look: the stink eye!<\/i><\/p>\n

Stinkeye Stapleton has a very cute robot mode. He's broad and squarish, with a black \"helmet\" around his silver face. His arms and feet are silver, while the majority of his body is the same blue as the altmode, duh. A few black elements break up the body, and there are a sculpted elements to keep him from looking boring. The narrowed eyes and small mouth make him look angry and frustrated - an emotion furthered by the anime-style flare above the left eye. The only articulation here are the balljointed shoulders.<\/p>\n

Stinkeye Stapleton is available in a Toilet Troop 5-pack, a Greaser Gang 8-pack, or a Jock Squad 8-pack. If you're trying to get a full collection of Series 1 figures, you'll probably end up with at least two of him.<\/p>\n

<\/a>In the second wing<\/a> of the Transformers BotBots<\/i><\/a> mall, members of the Backpack Bunch<\/a> can mostly be found by the office supply store on the ground floor. Just like they were in Series 1. Don't be afraid to change things up, Backpack Bunch!<\/p>\n

In Afrikaans, the word for a stapler is called a \"paper vampire\" (papier vampier<\/i>), which may be the raddest thing ever. And then you find out the part that pushes the staples out is called the hammer, and the base is called the anvil. Who knew office supplies could be so brutal! A black stapler looks much more realistic than one in bright blue, but you have to ask: why haven't they done one in \"Office Space<\/i> red\" yet? Is it because they already used the name Milton<\/a>? Was that name originally grabbed for a red stapler, but then reassigned for some reason?<\/p>\n

BotBots<\/i> convert very easily. All you have to do here is unfold the legs, and swing the arms down and to the sides. Basically, the robot is just curled up in a ball with its hands over its face - very relatable.<\/p>\n

Steve From Accounting like to talk numbers: how many staples he's used this week, how many staples he's used this month, the plans for next month's staple use. Just when you think there's nothing more to say about stapling, he'll tell a joke. What do you call a staple with commitment issues? A paperclip.<\/i><\/p>\n

Steve has a pretty pedestrian name for a Transformer, doesn't he? Despite his bio describing him as super bland, his expression is wild: huge blue eyes and a mouth that's wide open like he's screaming. Is this a Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged<\/i><\/a> reference? His body design is cooler than the Series 1 figure too, with a silver \"vest,\" blue across the waist, and on the top of the feet. The use of the same basic colors between the two figures makes them look like a nice pair, and makes breaking my \"only one of a mold\" rule easier.<\/p>\n
