Back during Series 2, the Transformers BotBots<\/i><\/a> are divided into various teams, based on what store in the mall they hail from. The Greaser Gang<\/a>, for instance, are all fast food items. They've been around since Series 1, where the central<\/a> wing of the mall had one restaurant and one kiosk. Angry Cheese is upstairs yelling like a maniac.<\/p>\n

Despite its name, the grilled cheese sandwich is not an actual grilled cheese sandwich. It is, at best, a griddled sandwich that happens to have some melted cheese in it. Have you ever had one where the cheese had been grilled? Maybe<\/b> the bread, if someone was getting fancy, but even that is an outside chance. The sandwich's origins go back to the beginning of the 20th century, where an openfaced \"cheese dream\" was a fast, basic thing you could throw together for almost no money. Butter, bread, and cheese? Those were staples, not huge extravagances, even during the Great Depression. This is a good-lookin' sandwich, with warm yellow cheese oozing out the sides. Now I'm hungry!<\/p>\n

BotBots<\/i> convert easily. Angry Cheese gets it done by opening the flaps around the body, spread the arms a little, pull down the legs, and lower the flap over the face.<\/p>\n

Angry Cheese is lactose intolerant. That's probably why she's so angry. She likes to yell. A lot. Her cheese rage gives her strange melting powers. When she's in a bad mood, she can melt things into a puddle of yummy cheesy goop.<\/i><\/p>\n

Sandwichtron<\/a> looks more like she's yawning than yelling, in all honesty. She looks precisely like you'd expect a robot made from a sandwich to look, with remnants of bread around the face and the top of the head. The panels that open end up behind the back, which makes it really hard to get her to stand - she wants to fall over backwards. And since the only joints are the shoulders, there's not much you can do about it.<\/p>\n

Angry Cheese is available in a Greaser Gang or a Jock Squad 8-pack.<\/p>\n

<\/a>By Series 4 of the Transformers BotBots<\/i><\/a> stopped giving us charts depicting the mall where the BotBots live, so while we know this little one is a member of the Fresh Squeezes<\/a>, we've got no idea where, precisely, this one might live. This isn't exactly the type of thing the food court would normally sell.<\/p>\n

Avocado toast is, along with Starbucks<\/a> coffee, one of the things that boomer editorialists, angry at their own pending irrelevancy, like to claim is preventing any of the rest of us from advancing economically, rather than the complete failure of end-state Capitalism as a very concept. Which is fine and all, except that no one'd even heard<\/b> of \"avocado toast\" until it became a meme representing out-of-touch old people yelling at clouds. It's like they picked two words at random. Habanero butter. Portabello water. Edamame meatballs. Soppressata crackers. Charcuterie pants. For some reason, it's gotten popular to euphemistically refer to guacamole as \"smashed avocado,\" which is what's actually on this bread: there's just a smear of green paint on the bread (on the bottom, judging by the sculpted goo left over from when it was a grilled cheese), not big slices of Avocando's<\/a> body.<\/p>\n

Hiptoast was wearing avocado before it was cool. Butter, dude? That's too mainstream. Hiptoast is listening to music you probably haven't heard of and hanging out at places that are so undiscovered no one can prove they actually exist. No one really likes Hiptoast because she's so smug about being different. That's fine with Hiptoast, the second everyone is into her, she won't be cool anymore.<\/i><\/p>\n

For someone who's antisocial and unlikable, Hiptoast sure has a pleasant smile on her face. We see why the goop was on this side of the bread now: so it can still be seen outlined around the face. There's also a green paint app creating a little \"belt,\" which is more than Angry Cheese had. Hiptoast still has the same trouble standing up, because the weight of the kibble on the back tries to pull her over.<\/p>\n

Hiptoast was available blind-packed<\/a> as #4, a Magic Tricksters 5-pack, or a Movie Moguls 8-pack. The ones in the multipacks have a darker green than the blind-pack version.<\/p>\n
