Target cancelled the deal, and the doll became an Amazon exclusive instead.<\/p>\n

Well, Amazon's preorders went up, then they all got cancelled. Then preorders went up again, and again the orders got cancelled. It seemed Frankie would never actually see release, or would perhaps find their (being assembled from all sorts of unrelated bodyparts, Frankie is logically non-binary) way to that not-Mattycollector web store nobody knows Mattel has, but at last Amazon has gotten the doll in stock and shipping<\/a>.<\/p>\n Unlike some companies, Mattel has not retreated from treating all their customers with basic human dignity: Monster High<\/i> is very inclusive and celebrates Pride every year, so it's kind of fitting that Welcome Committee Frankie has finally been allowed to come out.<\/p>\n
