They're wildly expensive, at a time when Lego prices are already rising, and reportedly are <a href=\"\/cgi-bin\/forums\/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST&f=11&t=591&st=#entry7\">just about the dumbest things ever<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance, though? As revealed in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/tech\/892894\/lego-smart-brick-battery-sensors-disposable\" target=vox>this article at The Verge<\/a>, you can't even change the batteries in the dang things!
