"The tin-foil-hat-level theory about jacking up the price in response to demand seems plausible (although surely Hasbro could have figured out the demand before the teases too?). Also maybe plausible that they increased the price due to, say, the increased cost of oil or something. (But then why not a price increase across the board? Or maybe that will come (again) in the near future.)"

"I shall call him... Mini-Me."
10/28/09

See, there's more than one excuse for the undersized Chameleon Swamp Skier - it's the perfect size for the Combat Heroes Zartan, and his legs are spaced perfectly to fit on it. Was that intentional, or just luck?

This isn't the first time we've paired Zartan with Oil Slick, either. That combo remains a favorite, because it just looks so darn good!

The idea of Halloween as "amateur night," of course, comes from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Ah, good television! Remember when such a thing existed?

Vision-Impaired Transcript

Caption: Cobra's Master of Disguise would forever consider Halloween "amateur night," but even Zartan had to admit there were some costumes that just made him smile.
Mini-Zartan: Trick or treat, mister!
