Blue Beetle and Booster Gold are probably the most famous hetero lifepartners/bromance buddies in comics. Originally the caption was going to say "grant Ted's final wish," since he's dead dead dead right now, but we decided to change it for no real reason at all. Superhero birthdays just sound funnier.
It's up to you what Ted's wish was: to be the meat in a Booster Gold sandwich, or just to go to the amusement park with his pal and always have someone holding a spot in line for them. This joke is as innocent as you want it to be!
