Michael Caine plays Alfred. Michael Caine also played the title character in the 1966 film Alfie. And so, ever since the casting was announced, we've been hoping that at some point Alfred would reference Alfie, but it's probably not going to happen. So we took the ball and ran with it! One problem? None of us have ever seen Alfie, so Caine's line here is actually taken from Sealab 2021, when Captain Murphy was doing his Michael Caine impression. Does he actually say "people're always asking me..." etc., in the film? No idea! Still funny, though. Vision-Impaired Transcript Batman: Woah! I did not need to see that! Alfred: People're always asking me: "What's it all about, Alfred?"
