Figuretoon Quickies

"Twin Engines of Destruction"
6/24/09

Today's the day that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen opens (the midnight showings are just starting), so a Figuretoon featuring The Fallen was too good to pass up. That said, we realize this is going to take some explaining to non-hardcore TF fans.

The Fallen, the titular villain of the film, is one of the 13 original Transformers. According to the backstory, all 13 of those guys are multiversal singularities: unlike the various multiple versions of Optimus Prime (for instance), there's only one copy of each of them throughout the entirety of existence. But how can there only be one copy when there are two toys?

Yeah, we never said it was riotously funny - just that you had to know the history to get the joke. Confusing the issue even further, the title comes not from Transformers, but from a Star Wars comicbook.

The Fallen: Well, so much for that idea.
The Fallen: Yeah, "multiversal singularity" my skidplate!
