Are you there, Deadpool? It's me, Deadpool!
In an alternate dimension Wanda Wilson, Lady Deadpool, leads the resistance against General America's loyalist forces before joining the cross-dimensional capers of the Deadpool Corps.
So, let's get this question out of the way right up front: why isn't this the movie version? It's obvious the only reason the Earth-3010 Deadpool (aka "Ladypool") is here in Series 16 is because a version of her showed up in Deadpool 3 at the head of an army of alternate-universe Deadpools. So why not take advantage of the opportunity to get the MCU version out to fans sooner? So far Cowboypool is the only one we have, and that took two years to happen; so considering movie Lady Deadpool looks exactly like comicbook Lady Deadpool, we again ask why Hasbro would choose not to slot her into this spot in the series.
Sadly, the answer is probably "because they wanted to reuse molds." Technically Movie Lady Deadpool would require a new, unique mold, while this one sure doesn't. The head is exactly the same as the version of her we got a few years ago, easily recognized by the giant, distinct ponytail swirling around to give her the impression of movement.
The body may be shared with other figures, but that doesn't mean it's not an improvement. The Deadpool Legends Series 2 figure used one of the common bodies (and was, in fact,
the review where we first noticed the way Hasbro was making "different" female phyisiques by mixing and matching chests and abdomens), but this one uses something newer, meaning we may need to add a page for it now. The body is both curvaceous and muscular, and for Lady Deadpool, even gets adorned with the same harness, belt, and thigh-pouches the 2018 figure sported. That old one just had the ankle- and wristbands painted on, not separate pieces like this one has, and the hands are sculpted to look like gloves instead of just red hands.
The new body's articulation is mostly improved, as well. She has no shin joints, but the old female bodies didn't, either. Like we said the first time this mold appeared, it's possible the arms and legs are
reused sculpts, with just the trunk being new: she has swivel/hinge ankles, double-hinged knees, swivel thighs, balljointed hips, a hinged stomach, balljointed chest, swivel/hinge wrists, double-hinged knees, swivel biceps, swivel/hinge shoulders, pectoral hinges, and, unfortunately, just a barbell head. We're less annoyed by that choice this time than usual, since her ponytail would get in the way of her tipping her head back if she had a better neck. The elbows and knees are pinless, for those who care about such things.
Lady D's accessories include
the same two katanas as the provious figure, plus the MAC-10s Domino originated, solid black with their bayonets painted silver. No alternate hands or anything, and no way to store the weapons she's not using at any given time.
This series has a Build-A-Figure, and Lady Deadpool has a piece. The BAF is Alpha Flight's Box, and the piece is the head.
This figure is better than the previous attempt, but not so much better as to be a must-buy; she's great if you don't have the old one, but at the fake $27.99 price Hasbro is pushing for in 2026, she's not good enough.
