In honor of today's review of the miWorld Mrs. Fields Cookie Shop set (and the fact that there is no $250 cookie recipe from Mrs. Fields or any other company), here's a recipe for cookies that you can try at home:
Beat together:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
Mix together:
- 5½ cups flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Add flour mixture to creamed mixture. Alternate with ¾ cup milk. End with flour mixture.
Add 12 oz chocolate chips (1 package).
Drop onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° about 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes about five dozen cookies.
