Eternia Minis: Sorceress review

Mini-Figure Mini-Reviews

So you'll recall how Series 1 of the Masters of the Universe: Revelation Eternia Minis had a mix of figures who were clearly based on the new show, and at least one figure who could have come from the past; this remains the same in Series 2, where the new characters include both Mercenary Teela and today's review, the heroic guardian of Castle Grayskull, Teelana the Sorceress.

If you want to get needlessly technical, then yes, this Sorceress is specifically the Revelation design: she looks nearly the same as the vintage Sorceress, rather than Mo2K's Egyptian influence, but the white part of her outfit is a full dress now, ankle-length but with long slits up the sides. So "different," but still close enough. She's got the typical orange, blue, and white colorscheme, but while they even bothered to do the orange feathers on the inside of the cape behind her back, they left the exterior of the cape entirely blue. Mistake!

Like Evil-Lyn, Sorceress has a gigantic head - obviously nobody was thinking about the female characters when this line started, because their proportions don't look like they're even from the same line as the men. The dudes all have large bodies and tiny heads, but the women reverse it, like back when Superhero Squad was a thing. The figure moves at the neck, shoulders, and waist, and she's lucky enough to get an accessory: an all-white version of her hawk-topped staff.
