DC Lil' Bombshells - Ravager review

Mini-Figure Mini-Reviews

Ravager, in the normal DC Universe, is the daughter of Deathstroke and a Cambodian prostitute named Sweet Lili. But DC Bombshells is a more gynocentric universe, so here Ravager is the daughter of Cambodian pirate queen Lili Rose and... I don't know, some dude, presumably. He doesn't matter. She's a sexy pirate girl herself, and hangs out in Belle Reve Mansion with Batgirl, Enchantress, and Killer Croc when she's not doing work as part of Amanda Waller's tactical team, the Suicide Squad. She's also minorly psychic, able to see the future. Sometimes. Briefly.

Bombshells Ravager is one of the characters not designed by Ant Lucia. Like Huntress, Ravager came not from the Bombshells line proper, but rather from that month when DC put Bombshells covers on all their non-Bombshells books. Also like Huntress, she was designed by Emanuela Lupacchino. Her comic in question was Deathstroke #9, fittingly, and the cover was designed to look like a movie poster "featuring Rose Wilson as The Ravager - the Deadliest Titan on the Open Sea!" Who wouldn't want to watch leggy girl in frilly dress with two swords and zero pants?

Like normal Ravager, this one wears clothes derivative of Deathstroke's costume: clothes that are orange and blue (black, in this case) and have a feeling of scale mail armor about them - no mean feat for a cloth bustier! Her white hair spills out wildly from beneath the scarf tied on her head, and she's got a few Jack Sparrow-ish braids drooping down, as well. The toy only gets one sword, not two, but she does have her eyepatch, and said eyepatch has a large white spot to look more like Deathstroke's mask.

It's a cute figure, but the choice to make her black rather than blue means it's hard to identify who she is sans context. Just a random pirate girl.
