The minimum wage in China is going up

The Cantonese government has just announced that the minimum wage in Dongguan will increase from ¥920 to ¥1,100 on March 1st - that's a 19.6% increase. Dongguan is the third largest exporting region in China, and though they mostly seem to manufacture electronics, it's not much of a stretch to realize this may shortly affect toy prices.
