I totally understand Sam Smith's "getting amped for theatrical Transformers again" feeling. I lost all interest following Revenge of the Fallen, to the point my reaction to all of the others being released was, "They're still making these?"
A big part of the reason was naturally the "fight scenes", and my overall dislike of the designs (plus the films themselves generally making all the TFs look mostly grey with splashes of colour here and there, whereas the toys make them look much more vibrant).
But Bumblebee? Thanks to that film I'm actually kind of excited again. It's also cool to see the kind of thought processes that went into creating the Bumblebee Studio Series toys, since like the reviews have mentioned there was hardly any transformation during the Cybertron Battle sequences.
