From the Dungeons & Dragons Animated Series Handbook, here are Eric's stats:
"Sarcastic, pessimistic, and egotistical, Eric can get on the others' nerves. Beneath his prickly exterior, however, Eric has a good heart and deeply cares for his friends, using the powers of his shield to protect them time again. [sic] Ironically. Eric uses his biting wit as a shield to protect himself from his worst fear - being ridiculed."

I can't believe I was just personally attacked like this...
It really says a lot about those idiot parent groups that they were too thick to actually check to make sure their insidious "the complainer is always wrong" demand was actually followed...
Looking back at the old DnD cartoon now (thanks, Youtube!) I can really appreciate the dynamic between the team more. Like, yeah, Eric complains and the others give him a hard time for it, but I notice that generally Hank actually does consider his complaints and doesn't rib him as much as the others.
Now that I think about it, I wonder if it's possible to make builds based on the kids in that Baldur's Gate 3 game I still haven't gotten round to getting...
